Time keeps on ticking away...

Yeah, I'll admit that I spend time talking to buddies of mine on AIM and MSN, and I once in awhile will have a funny conversation worthy of saving. Well tonight, due to my quest of how many lines I could type with the word "time" in it, I had a pretty good chat. Here is how it went...oh, and yes I used the word "time" a lot:

thesilveraccord1: I need to go to MOA
SOaPiZzLe: werent u supposed to go like a couple days ago
thesilveraccord1: yeah, but I didn't
thesilveraccord1: haven't had time
thesilveraccord1: and I will have time tomorrow
thesilveraccord1: lots of time
thesilveraccord1: so much time I don't know what to do with it all
SOaPiZzLe: haha
thesilveraccord1: shit, if I kill the time, more time for me to go will come
thesilveraccord1: its an endless amount of time
thesilveraccord1: and the time will never run out
SOaPiZzLe: alright kyle
SOaPiZzLe: enough about how much freetime u have
thesilveraccord1: time is on my side
SOaPiZzLe: haha shut it
thesilveraccord1: its a good time.....to have time avaliable
SOaPiZzLe: omgoodness
SOaPiZzLe: haha
thesilveraccord1: I guess tomorrow, going to the MOA will be a timely decision on my part
SOaPiZzLe: wowwwwwwwwwwwww
thesilveraccord1: or maybe you need a time-out sopeab
SOaPiZzLe: haha
SOaPiZzLe: maybe U do
thesilveraccord1: maybe I do...although that won't interfere with all the free time I have
thesilveraccord1: lol
SOaPiZzLe: omg
SOaPiZzLe: shut up
SOaPiZzLe: haha
thesilveraccord1: I will....in due time
SOaPiZzLe: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh
thesilveraccord1: cause shutting up takes time
SOaPiZzLe: wow
thesilveraccord1: and maybe it is my time to shut up
thesilveraccord1: and maybe it might just have to wait for another time for that to happen
SOaPiZzLe: wow
thesilveraccord1: cause everything that a person says....must be said at the right time
thesilveraccord1: because timing is everything
SOaPiZzLe: ok kyle
SOaPiZzLe: ur done
thesilveraccord1: ok...my time has come to be done
thesilveraccord1: lol
SOaPiZzLe: mmmkay
thesilveraccord1: seriously...this time I am done
SOaPiZzLe: ok
SOaPiZzLe: good
thesilveraccord1: yeah...I guess you could say that conversation was good times
SOaPiZzLe: wow

Whistle Blower

Yeah, as some of you may know I made it through this crazy weekend, which consisted of me officiating an unreal 23 basketball games in three days. In this article, you are about to hear about this nutty weekend…in abbreviated fashion of course.

5:00 – Never had to wake up this early since I was in high school.

23 games – I have never officiated this many games in a three-day stretch in my life. Oh, it also translates into a sore body and a hefty paycheck.

9 games – Never officiated this many games in one day.

0 for 3 – Yeah, I had the balls to talk to some good-looking girls…but got zero phone numbers because I am too chicken to ask for them (oh, and they were all legal too). On the plus side, they were from southern Minnesota and Iowa…so its no big deal.

10 hours – I don’t think I have slept for this amount of time in awhile…but refereeing 9 games in one day, it made me very tired.

90 degrees – Warm summer weekend = this temperature in the gymnasiums I had to referee in. Yeah, felt like I was in a sauna all weekend long.

9-12 grade – The age level of all the players. It was a high school basketball camp for boys and girls.

4 – Teams were from South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Iroquois – Anybody else find this school name funny? Almost spells out “Iraq”. I almost wanted to turn the “o” into an “a” and give them the trophy for “Odd School Name”.

Foot Locker – Saw two officials with official FL shirts on as their uniforms. After seeing this, I got a good laugh and then I asked them if they had that new Nike Zoom shoe in stock (insert laugh here).

There you have it…my condensed version of the long weekend and damn, I am glad that it is finally over.
